Study Abroad

Trinity University has an active and effective Study Abroad Office. Because we have no in-house programs of our own, our students are able to attend and receive credit for study in any accredited program that suits their academic and personal interests. This freedom allows students a much greater variety of choices than would be available if we encouraged students to participate only in our own programs. Study abroad for Trinity students is common for both majors and minors, at least in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures; probably half of all our majors spend at least a semester abroad before graduation. For more information on Study Abroad at Trinity, contact the Study Abroad office, (210) 736-7313.

In addition, we frequently are made aware of links to various study abroad programs around the world. For the sake of information, we are providing these links so that students can explore all their possibilities before choosing a study abroad program. The Department in no way endorses these programs; in most cases we know nothing about them other than what appears in their websites. Caveat emptor! Of course, if any students are interested in a particular program, we in the department will help as much as we can to find out more about it. And as with any study abroad program, to get credit for studying in these programs will require the approval of the Office of Study Abroad and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.

Note: There are many other study abroad programs with websites. If you know of a good one, please contact us and we will add the link to it on this page.
