Trinity University Choir

Trinity Choir on Retreat 2008

The Trinity Choir, formed in the late-nineteenth century, is the oldest performing ensemble at Trinity and enjoys a national as well as international reputation of musical excellence.  Comprised of approximately 60 singers of diverse backgrounds and majors from across the university, the Trinity Choir’s repertoire is equally wide-ranging as it encompasses sacred and secular works from the Renaissance era to the 21st century.

In 2005, the Trinity Choir was invited to perform at the inaugural conference of the National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO) and was one of only three ensembles from the state of Texas invited to sing at the 2003 Texas Music Educator’s Association Convention. The Trinity Choir has toured extensively with recent trips to Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and throughout the United States.  In addition, the choir performs regularly on campus and throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area.
