Dr. Greene has been a member of the St. Louis Municipal Opera Orchestra, the Richmond Symphony, and the resident string quartet at Virginia Commonwealth University. For three years, he was Principal Violist of the Newfoundland Symphony. He previously held faculty appointments at universities in Alberta and Newfoundland, and was Chair of the Music Department at Beloit College in Wisconsin for nine years.
From 1996 to 2006, Dr. Greene served as Chair of the Trinity Department of Music. He currently teaches viola, string-related courses, and Music Cultures of the World, in addition to conducting the Trinity Symphony Orchestra. In the summer months, he performs chamber music and serves as concert commentator at the Strings in the Mountains Music Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
