Dr. MacPherson conducts the Trinity Choir, the Chamber Singers, and the University Chorus in addition to teaching courses in conducting and choral techniques. Under his direction, the Trinity Choir and Chamber Singers tour regionally, nationally and internationally. He is in demand as a choral clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor, and leads workshops in choral conducting/literature as well as eurhythmics in the choral rehearsal. Dr. MacPherson has served as clinician and guest conductor for the TPSMEA (Texas Private Schools Music Educators Association) All-State Choir as well as for TMEA Region and Pre-Area Choirs and has conducted the award-winning German choir modus novus. During the summer Dr. MacPherson serves as conductor of the Isthmus Vocal Ensemble in Madison, Wisconsin. He has also been invited to conduct the Vokalensemble Kölner Dom this December in Cologne, Germany.
