Amendment Number 3 (pdf) to Trinity University Cafeteria Plan Health Care Reimbursement Plan (pdf) Medical Spending Account/Dependent
Care Reimbursement Form |
Participants in an MSA may elect up to a yearly maximum of $5,000 (tax-free and deductible from his/her paycheck in equal increments) for the purpose of receiving reimbursement for medical/dental expenses and vision not covered by any insurance. The primary benefit received from an MSA is of, course, the tax savings. All enrollees should be aware, however, that any unused dollars remaining in the MSA at the end of each plan year will be forfeited, and are not available for return to the employee. Under IRS rules, changes to allocations may only be made for bonafide family status changes; therefore, caution is urged when determining a specific amount designated for the MSA. Reimbursements will be processed through our third party administrator, GPA.
If you have any questions about your Trinity Flexible Benefits Plan, you should review it with Jennifer Gilmore Adamo or Denise Covert in Human Resources at extension 7507.
