Retirement Information 

After 2 years of service and attaining age 21, Trinity employees must begin participation in a retirement program through TIAA-CREF (Teachers Insurance Annuity Association - College Retirements Equities Fund) or Fidelity Investments.  Trinity contributes 10% of your salary minus any pre-tax deductions for insurance benefits and you contribute a minimum of 3% into the fund(s) of your choice (fixed, variable, or mutual fund).  The option of contributing to a supplemental retirement annuity is also available through TIAA-CREF.  You may view TIAA-CREF's web seminars at anytime at www.tiaa-cref.org/financialeducation.

Employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA Group Supplemental Retirement Annuity or Fidelity Investments programs at any time throughout their employment with Trinity University. Contributions are made only by the employee, on a tax-deferred basis, with a minimum contribution of .5%.
