68/07-08.  MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT.  PHYSICAL PLANT. INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY. FULL-TIME, REGULAR.  $9.2113 PER HOUR.
REQUIRES:  High School Diploma or its equivalent; at least one year grounds keeping experience; experience with general grounds keeping equipment; irrigation/plumbing experience; must be detail oriented in all phases of work performed; excellent oral communication skills; must meet physical demands such as bending, lifting and walking; must be able to move about the campus; must have a valid Texas Driver’s License; must be able to work in outdoor conditions.
DUTIES:  Assist Maintenance Supervisor with completion of duties in a specific area; maintain equipment related to major duties; install and maintain campus landscape projects; perform other duties as assigned.
