The Long-Term Care coverage is provided to Trinity University by Metlife.  Long- Term Care is coverage you can purchase for yourself, spouse, parents and parent-in-laws.  This coverage is for custodial care (i.e., home health care) and skilled care (i.e., nursing home).  You choose the coverage that best suits your needs and rates depend on each individual's coverage and age.  For example, you may choose at the time coverage is purchased and the individual's age at the time of applying for coverage, a per day pay out for custodial care; a waiting period of 30, 60, or 90 days; and/or a 3, 5, or 7 year payout.  Additional information regarding long term care can be found by contacting MetLife at 1-888-748-4824 or by contacting Human Resources.
