Ex Nihilo strives to publish the highest-quality undergraduate research

in significant areas of philosophy. All submissions are competitively

assessed through multiple tiers of peer review.

 

All submissions should defend a substantive philosophical thesis and

should display a close and clear inspection of pertinent texts. Selected

authors will be invited to our annual conference to critically defend

their argument against a qualified respondent.

 

Submissions should be 3500-5000 words in length, double-spaced, and documented using MLA style with an abstract of no more than 200 words. Please be sure to remove all identifying information from the submitted document and include a cover page with the following

information: full name, institution, major or degree plan, expected

graduation date, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
