National Political Science Honor Society

                  Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only
                  honor society for college and university students of government in the
                  United States. At present, there are 621 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on
                  campuses across the country. Pi Sigma Alpha is a member of the
                  Association of College Honor Societies.  Click on the icon for details. 


                                                      Xi Omicron

                  Xi Omicron is the Trinity University chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha.  Founded in
                  1984 by Dr. Guy Poitras of the Political Science Department, Xi Omicron
                  recognizes academic achievement of Trinity University students within
                  the discipline of political science.  Students must have completed 10 credit
                  hours in political science, have a 3.4 GPA in political science and a 3.25
                  cumulative GPA to qualify for membership in Xi Omicron.  Applications are
                  available in the Political Science department, Storch Building, room 105.
