JACK LEIFER

Engineering of moving systems; engineering mechanics; vehicular collision analysis

Assistant professor of engineering science; uses multi-camera videogrammetry to track moving systems and human motion; teaches courses in engineering mechanics and design; has more than 15 years of teaching experience at the college level and has held faculty internships with the NASA Langley Research Center and the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Technical Center; registered as a professional engineer in Texas and Kentucky; serves as a consultant in vehicular collision analysis (typically involving low force or rear-impact collisions,)  force and stress analysis, and general material behavior; serves as a tutorial faculty member for Trinity’s McNair Scholars Program.
