Trouble Viewing LeeRoy? Click here

Wednesday, February 8, 2012

EDITORS' NOTE: A gentle reminder - the deadline for LeeRoy submissions is two weeks before the start of the publicized event. The LeeRoy staff has to stand by this rule to keep up with the volume of submissions we receive and because of the daily publishing cycle. We have to work several days in advance of each issue to make sure it is sent out on time every day. To be honest, we tried to make exceptions to our own rule in the past and we ended up with mistakes in LeeRoy. We appreciate your help in honoring our deadline. – Monica & Russell

A Little History

According to the April 2, 1971 Trinitonian, three Trinity students (who wanted to remain anonymous) held a “shirt off” in Brackenridge Park.  The protest was provoked by a dress rule enforced by the parks department.  The rule banned male sunbathing even with only shirts off.
