Trinity Music Department to Present October Events

SAN ANTONIO - The Trinity University music department will present the following events in October. The events are free and open to the public:

Oct. 21 - Trinity Jazz Ensemble Concert. The concert will feature the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Charles Mingus, and original compositions by the Jazz Ensemble. The concert will also include vocalists and a jazz combo made up of members of the Jazz Ensemble.

The event will begin at 8 p.m. at Trinity's Laurie Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

Oct. 30 - Trinity Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. at the Winston Churchill High School Auditorium.
