William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing Next Production of

Trinity University's Speech and Drama Department

SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University's speech and drama department's second production of the 2005-2006 "Season of Fun with The Masters of Language" is one of William Shakespeare's best comedies, Much Ado About Nothing.  The play will be staged in the Stieren Theater on Nov. 11-12 at 8 p.m., Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m., Nov. 16-17 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 18-19 at 8 p.m.  Individual tickets are $6 for regular admission, $5 for senior citizens/faculty/staff, and $4 for students.

The comedy features some of Shakespeare's most interesting characters and the highly mannered society in which they lived.  This production, directed by Kristin Crouch, is set in 1940's Italy and includes romance, misperceptions, disguises, and false reports.  There will be a post-show discussion of the production after the Wed., Nov. 16, performance.

Reservations can be made by calling the Stieren Theater box office at (210) 999-8511 Monday through Friday between 2-5 p.m. or one hour prior to each performance.
