Trinity University Rated as Best Value by Kiplinger’s Magazine
According to the magazine, the Kiplinger’s 100 guide measured academic quality and affordability, with quality accounting for two-thirds of the total points. The guide began with data on more than 1,000 institutions before compiling two lists of 100 schools, the first list consisting of liberal arts colleges and the second list of universities. Trinity is ranked number 21 in the list featuring universities.
Kiplinger’s cited Trinity for making an education affordable by providing a mix of both merit-based and need-based award for financial aid. “Its total sticker price of $30,797 per year is one of the lowest of all the universities in our rakings,” continued the magazine.
Among the factors the Kiplinger’s 100 guide used in compiling the lists included total costs, admission rates, student/faculty ratios, and four year/five year graduation rates.
Other schools on the university list included Rice University, Stanford University, Brown University, Cornell University, Boston College, and the University of Chicago.
