Trinity University Named One of the Nation’s Top Health Care Management Graduate-Level Programs

SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University’s Health Care Administration program has been recognized as one of the top programs in health care management in U.S. News & World Report’s 2008 edition of America’s Best Graduate Schools.  The rankings are listed in the April 9 edition of the U.S. News & World Report.

Rankings are based on the results of peer assessment surveys sent to deans, other administrators, and/or faculty at accredited degree programs or schools in each discipline.  Trinity was ranked among the top 20 for its Health Care Administration graduate program, along with Duke University (Fuqua), University of Pittsburgh, U.S. Army-Baylor University, and Yale University.  The magazine examined a total of 69 healthcare management programs.

Trinity offers two options for obtaining a Master of Science in Health Care Administration, an on-campus program that emphasizes coursework and a 12-month residency and the executive program for individuals working in a health care setting who can participate in distance learning. Both are equivalent in terms of quality, rigor, and curricular content.

Trinity University, founded in 1869, is one of the nation’s top private undergraduate institutions.  Noted for its superior academic quality, outstanding faculty, and exceptional academic and residential resources, Trinity is committed to the intellectual, civil, and professional preparation of it students.
