̉Tis the Melodious Season: Trinity University to Present Annual Christmas Concert

SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University will musically welcome this holiday season with its fifteenth annual Christmas Concert. The concert, which has become a favorite San Antonio tradition, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Trinity’s Laurie Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public, and no reservations or tickets are required.  Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.

The concert will feature members of the Trinity Choir, the University Chorus, the Trinity Symphony Orchestra, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and the Parker Chapel Handbell Choir.

The program will feature the combined talents of 200 of the University’s singers and instrumentalists, and includes traditional holiday favorites, two of which will be sing-a-longs.  The narrated A Charlie Brown Christmas accompanied by the wind symphony, and “For Unto Us a Child is Born” from Handel’s Messiah, featuring the Trinity orchestra and choirs, are among this year’s highlights.  There will be pre- and post-concert seasonal music in the foyer.
