Yale Professor Presents Lecture on “Homosexuality and the Bible” at Trinity University

 

SAN ANTONIO –Dale B. Martin, Woolsey Professor of Religious Studies at Yale University, will present “Homosexuality and the Bible” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19, in Parker Chapel. A reception will follow immediately after the lecture in the chapel reception room.

 

Dr. Martin is a Texas native and graduate of Abilene Christian University, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Yale University. He has held professorships at Yale Divinity School, Rhodes College, Duke University, and currently at Yale University.  He is the author of five books, including Sex and the Single Savior, a collection of essays on gender and sexuality in biblical interpretation, which will be sold in the Trinity University Bookstore. 

 

These events are sponsored by Student Affairs, Parker Chapel, the departments of classical studies and religion.  Both events are free and open to the public.
