FOR MORE INFORMATION Yuletide Carols: Trinity University to Present Annual Christmas Concert
SAN ANTONIO – Trinity University will musically welcome this holiday season with its sixteenth annual Christmas Concert. The concert, which has become a favorite San Antonio tradition, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in Trinity’s Laurie Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public, and no reservations or tickets are required. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis.
The program features the combined talents of more than 200 of the University’s singers and instrumentalists, and includes traditional holiday favorites and audience sing-a-longs. March of the Toys, performed by the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Handbell Ensemble’s rendition of Fantasy on Carol of the Bells, and Glory to God in the Highest, from Handel’s Messiah, featuring the Trinity Symphony Orchestra and Choirs, are among this year’s highlights.
Pre- and post-concert seasonal music will be provided in the foyer by the Jazz Ensemble and Trinity’s own A cappella student groups, the Trinitones and the Acabellas.
