Trinity Music Department Presents April Events

March 31, 2003 – The Trinity music department will present the following events in April.  All events are subject to change. For more information or to confirm date and time of performances, call the music department at (210) 999-8211.

April 4 – Trinity Jazz Ensemble Concert. Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Admission is free.

April 8 – Piano Series Event Concert.  The Piano Series event will feature a duo piano recital featuring Carolyn True and Brad Beckman. Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Admission is free.

April 11 – Trinity Wind Ensemble Concert.  Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Admission is free.

April 13 – Parker Chapel Handbell Choir Concert.  The Parker Chapel Handbell Choir, under the direction of Jarome Malek, will perform a program that includes Song of Peace by Arnold B. Sherman, Zekiel's Got Shoes arranged by Hart Morris, Toccata Ritmica by Michael Joy, and Reflections on the Plains by Cathy Moklebust. There will also be selections for solo ringers and a bell duet. Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 3 p.m. Admission is free.

April 15 – Spring Choral Concert.  The concert will feature members of the Trinity Chamber Singers and the University Chorus. Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Admission is free.

April 27 – Trinity Choral Union Concert.  The Choral Union, as well as the Trinity Symphony Orchestra, will perform Poulenc’s Gloria and Brahms’s Schicksalslied.  Margarite B. Parker Chapel, 2 p.m. Admission is free.

April 29 – SOLI Chamber Ensemble Concert.  Ruth Taylor Concert Hall, 8 p.m. Admission is $10 (Free with a Trinity student ID card.).
