| TRINITY STUDENTS PRESENT PAPERS AT AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCETY MEETING |

Dec. 10, 2001 Eighteen students from Trinity University have presented papers showcasing their research at the 57th southwest regional American Chemical Society meeting in San Antonio in October. Research topics ranged from bile salt systems to isotopes on the surface of ice to enzymes in the element selenium that can help remove cancer-causing radicals. Among the student presents were Nathan Anderson of Duluth, Minn.; Brandon Chance, whose hometown is unknown; Matthew Conner of The Woodlands, Texas; and Jasmeen Dara of Carlsbad, N.M. Others were John Lee of Daly City, Calif.; Shane Lee of Houston; Amanda Leone of Westminster, Colo.; and Michelle Luk of Houston. Also presenting were Caitlin McEathron of Bellingham, Wash; Chirag Mehta of Wichita Falls, Texas; Justin “Scoobie” Mynar of Hewitt, Texas; Carolyn Nguyen of Missouri City, Texas; and Joanna Payne of San Antonio and Laredo, Texas. Others were Ashley Raymond of Ludington, Mich.; Lindsay Sondergeld of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Dylan Stentiford of Loomis, Calif.; David Thomas of Dallas; and Christa Vass of Mathis, Texas. |
