Trinity Opens New Theater Season with Classic Our Town |
| Sept. 17, 2003 – Trinity University’s speech and drama department will begin its 2003-04 theater season by presenting Our Town, the classic American drama by Thornton Wilder. The play will be staged in the Stieren Theater on Oct. 3-4 at 8 p.m., Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m., Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., and Oct. 9-11 at 8 p.m. Individual tickets are $6 for regular admission, $5 for senior citizens/faculty/staff, and $4 for students. First produced in 1938, this Pulitzer Prize-winning play depicts life in the small village of Grover’s Corners. It is a bittersweet comedy that treats the small moments that make life what it is.
