Crossfire is a dynamic political debate program televised weeknights on CNN. As co-host of the program, Mr. Press presents the liberal side on the issues of the day. This year, the show will celebrate 20 years of being on the air. As well as being co-host for Crossfire, Mr. Press writes a nationally syndicated newspaper column. His first book, Spin This, about how marketing and public relations practices affect politics, journalism, and other aspects of culture, was published late last year. He has received many honors during his career, including four Emmy awards and being named Best Commentator of the Year in 1992 by the Associated Press. 19, 2002 – Bill Press, former co-host of CNN’s Crossfire
and political contributor to CNN, will
be the next featured speaker at Trinity’s Policy Maker Breakfast Series.
Mr. Press will give a presentation titled “In the Line of Fire” at 7:30
a.m. on Thursday, April 4, at the DoubleTree Hotel's Tamayo Ballroom.
Tickets are $35 and reservations should be made three days in advance
to guarantee seating.
