| Trinity Policy Maker Breakfast Series To Open With Former President of Mexico |

Before entering public service, Mr. Zedillo received a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University. He worked at Mexico's Central Bank and later at the Ministry of Programming and Budget as undersecretary of the budget and as secretary of economic programming and budget. While secretary, he was credited with controlling Mexico's massive foreign debt and reducing the inflation rate from 160% to about 8% in five years. He also served as secretary of education and worked at decentralizing the public school system. Mr. Zedillo was elected President of Mexico in 1994 for a six-year term. Currently, he is a distinguished visiting fellow at the London School of Economics and a columnist for Forbes magazine.
