Sulpher Springs Resident Receives Award

May 15, 2000  - Dustin K. Ragan, a first-year student at Trinity University, is the recipient of the 24th annual Garnett G. Gray General Physics Prize.  Ragan had the highest score on the exam administered each year.  The prize is named in honor of a former Trinity physics faculty member who was very active in introductory classes.

Ragan is a National Merit Scholar who graduated from Sulpher Springs High School.  He plans to major in mathematics and minor in physics, computer science, and Spanish.
