| Trinity Speech and Drama Department to Stage “Tango” |
| Sept. 10, 2002 – Trinity University’s speech and drama department will present Tango, a tragicomedy by Slawomir Mrozek. The play centers on a strait-laced young man who decides to rebel against his laid-back parents. The play will be presented in the Stieren Theater on Oct. 4-5 and Oct. 10-12 at 8 p.m. There will be additional showings on Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for regular admission, $5 for senior citizens/faculty/staff, and $4 for students. Season passes are also available. The plot revolves around Arthur who revolts against his relaxed parents and the rest of his wacky bohemian family. The tango that follows is the increasingly feverish and fervent attempt to leave some sort of mark on a world that just muddles along with its eccentricities. For more information or to order tickets, contact the Ruth Taylor Theater Box Office at (210) 999-8515 or visit tutheater@trinity.edu. |
