SLIDESHOW: Students add color to stage, personal repertoire in Two Masters

April 2010 – The work of the students in DRAM 3313 “Scene Design” took center stage – literally – when Harlequin: The Servant of Two Masters opened on Friday, April 16, in Stieren Theater on the Trinity University campus.

The class gained hands-on, real-world production experience by painting the backdrop for the Commedia dell'arte play by Carlo Goldoni that spins a tale about a servant who ends up serving two masters simultaneously. One of the masters is a woman on the run from a forced marriage, while the other is the woman’s secret lover.
