Re: Virginia Tech Tragedy

The horrific events that took place on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia today have shocked and saddened our nation. As a University community, we extend our deepest sympathy to the families of the 32 people killed; our prayers for recovery are with the nearly two dozen others who were injured in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

During such tragic times, many of us will find comfort in the support of family and friends. If because of the scope of this tragedy, you need additional help, please do not hesitate to contact Trinity’s Counseling Center at ext. 7411.

The University has extensive protocols in place to respond to a lengthy list of emergencies, but we will review them yet again to determine if they should be changed in light of this tragedy.
