The Community Initiatives Program offers upper class students the opportunity to present proposals for communal living to Residential Life. Community floors are self-governing and create strong connections among their residents.
Because Resident Assistants do not directly serve these halls, individual
community members share responsibilities -- event planning, administrative
tasks, hall maintenance, conflict resolution. The community experience
fosters deep relationships, an open and warm hall environment and
great teamwork skills.
Congratulations to our 2009-2010 Communities!
