REAL LIFE is a program series specifically
designed by Residential Life for our first year students to help them make a
successful transition into college and adulthood.
Roommate bliss, Everyday
health, Alcohol and drugs, Love lessons, Living away from home, Identity
exploration, Freedom and citizenship, and Educational success—these topics
spell out the very real challenges and consequences of the choices and
responsibilities students face at Trinity. Here, their independent
life—habits, values and identity—are forming in a significant way inside and
outside the classroom.
Through REAL LIFE
activities facilitated in small, supportive resident mentor groups, we
proactively invite our students to reflect on this process of growing up.
Their resident mentor, as a peer they respect, is uniquely equipped to get
them thinking about the kind of people they want to be … and having fun and
building relationships along the way.
