Summer Research Conference

The 2011 Summer Undergraduate Research Program will take place on July 27-28.

Oral presentations are limited to 10-12 minutes, with 3-5 minutes allowed for questions, unless you are instructed otherwise by your session moderator.

Conference Program

Printed conference program booklets will be available at the poster sessions and in presentation rooms. Please take only one and return programs to the recycling boxes if you do not intend to keep them.

Poster guidelines

Poster display boards are 4 feet wide and 6 feet tall. Velcro tape will be provided. Please do NOT mount posters on foam board.

Preparing Program Abstracts

  • Dowload the abstract template
    Please do not alter the format in the template. Only abstracts submitted in doc or docx format will be accepted.
  • Replace the template text with your abstract
    Abstracts may not exceed one page in length.
  • A note on images: If you wish to include an image with your abstract, please limit yourself to ONE. The image should contain any captions or labels. Labels placed in Word often shift when the abstract is added to the compiled document.
  • Save the file
    The filename should include your last name (e.g. smith.doc)
  • Email the file
    Email to Claudia Scholz

Abstracts are due by July 19.
