Residential Life Mission Statement
The residential life
program at Trinity University exists as an integral part
of the educational program and academic support service
of the institution. The mission of the residence hall
program includes:
- Providing a
learning environment and related academic and
educational programs which support the
educational goals of the students and the
institution, and providing growth and development
opportunities for students;
- Facilitating
students' adjustment to the University
atmosphere, support continuing students in their
college career, and cultivating community in all
residence halls;
- Providing
facilities that ensure well-maintained, safe and
sanitary conditions for students and otherwise
accommodate residential life programs;
- Providing
avenues for student input into formation of
policies, evaluation of services and new ideas
through residence organizations, evaluation
instruments and an openness to suggestions; and
- Providing
managment services through a professionally
prepared staff that ensures the orderly and
effective administration of all aspects of the
program.
