What was it about the subject that first made you consider choosing Anthropology as a major?
I thought learning about people would make me hate them less. Instead it just really made me like learning about people.
How do you feel you relate to the world differently now that you are a major?
I think I observe more and look past the surface of most actions and social norms; I think more about everything that is going on around me socially and culturally.
What do you like about the professors in the department?
That they ROCK and are extremely well informed.
What do you like about the office staff?
I like that Ms. De Leon and Lisa are efficient, friendly, keep me informed because I'm bad at paying attention to events and what not.
Did you study abroad and did the department have anything to do with that decision?
I did not have the opportunity to study abroad.
What are your plans for the future and how do you think your major will help you?
I want to go into social work and social advocacy, this major basically is solely responsible for leading me to that interest (especially my social theory class).
