Campus and Community Involvement (CCI)
The
department actively encourages holistic student development by fostering
leadership, celebrating diversity, and facilitating a vibrant co-curricular
environment, the programmatic scope consists of new student
orientation, student organization advertisement, leadership programs, parent
programs, diversity programs, services programs, Greek life (local social
organizations), and student-edited publications. Additionally, Coates
University Center and Mail Center provide essential services to campus.
The Coates University Center serves as the hub of campus life. It is a
primary venue for programming held by students, staff, and faculty.
Campus Dining
In
partnership with ARAMARK, dining services is committed to providing healthy
and diverse food options to support the overall success of the Trinity
student. By offering on and off campus meal plans, accommodating
special dietary restrictions, and maintaining a sustainable, environmentally
friendly operation are examples of the staff's commitment to meet the
ever-changing needed of our diverse student population.
Career
Services
By offering
comprehensive, centralized career counseling as well as graduate school and
job preparation services to students and alumni, Career Services helps
individuals achieve desired vocational aspirations. The department
also assists recruiters to connect with students and alumni by providing job
posting services, career fairs, and other on-campus recruitment
opportunities through cutting-edge technology and personalized outreach.
Counseling Services
Counseling
Services facilitates student development personally, interpersonally,
culturally, and academically by providing counseling as well as consultative
and educational services. Licensed psychologists facilitate the
responsive coping of individuals and the campus community during times of
turmoil through crisis intervention and outreach.
Dean of Students
The Dean of
Students Office serves and supports students seeking assistance for
personal, academic, social, and other issues. the dean manages all
non-academic student conduct issues, advises student government, chairs the
Student Success and Behavioral Assessment Team, chairs the Trinity Alcohol
Coalition, and manages parent communication including the web page,
listserv, and newsletters.
Disability Services
By promoting
human and intellectual diversity for student with disabilities, the
department facilitates equal access and equal opportunity to all University
courses, programs, services, activities, and facilities by providing or
arranging accommodations, services, training, consultation, and technical
assistance. Disability Services promotes self-understanding and
self-advocacy within students with disabilities.
Health Services
Health
Services enhances the educational process by modifying or removing
health-related barriers to learning, and by promoting and empowering
students to develop an optimal level of wellness so they can participate
fully in academic and co-curricular activities. Services include
nursing evaluation, physician clinics, laboratory testing, vaccinations,
wellness exams, and health education.

Residential Life
Residential
Life houses all undergraduate students during the first three years on
campus. The department is committed to supporting and orienting new
students, targets sophomores by offering developmentally relevant second
year programs, and assists juniors and seniors in planning for life post
graduation. The professional staff lives on campus to manage
emergencies, supervises student staff, coordinates housing assignments, and
plans social and educational programs.
University Bookstore
In
partnership with Barnes & Noble, the campus bookstore offers a one-stop shop
for academic and non academic textbook needs. Official Trinity
supplies related to graduation as well as miscellaneous gifts and apparel
are also available.
