Tuttle gives thanks to TU

Dean's List by David Tuttle I am thankful for Trinity University.

I am thankful for the students - all of them. Even if they don't think I rule.

I am thankful for the weight room and the cardio room in the Bell Center, and for the refurbished floor.

I am thankful for Frances the wrap lady in Mabee. I am thankful for Bruce Bravo, the new Aramark manager.

I am thankful for the Association of Student Representatives (ASR). Students should be, too. Without ASR, the residence hall rooms would not have carpets, balconies would be designated as non-smoking, and the first year and upperclass students would be integrated.

I am thankful for the Admissions staff because they have a tough job.

I am thankful for the Residential Life staff because they have to put up with me.

I am thankful for the Mail Center staff, the Health Services staff, Physical Plant, the grounds staff, the Registrar, the cleaning staff, the people in Human Resources and Public Resources and Student Accounts and, and, and ...

I am thankful for flour on Halloween.

I am thankful for my computer and that we are in the top 10 most wired and wireless in the country.

I am thankful that we have this great little TigerCard.

I am thankful for the new phones and that KRTU jazz is the new hold music.

I am thankful whenever I hear Athletics PA announcer James Hill yell, "Here come the Tigerrrrrs."

I am thankful for the students who are designated drivers.

I am thankful for students who take away keys from those who have been drinking, and for the ones who have driven after drinking and not gotten hurt or hurt anyone else.

I am thankful that the president and vice president of the Teers invited me to lunch in the Skyline Room.

I am thankful for Becky Spurlock and her staff for the great work they are doing.

I am thankful for the hands-free towel dispensers in the restrooms.

I am thankful for the parents of our students.

I am thankful for the plays, the handbell choir, Trinity Idol, for the Chocolate Festival and for the New Student Orientation concert.

I am thankful when I see students gently dropped into the fountain on their birthdays.

I am thankful for Trinity.
