The mission of the Dean of Students Office
is to serve students as they
manage academic, personal, social,
and emotional issues and concerns, represent
their legitimate needs to others, and represent the University's
interests to them.
This office embraces the Student
Affairs mission to engage students in learning,
help them answer
the question, ‘Who am I?’ and guide them in understanding their
place in the world.
The Dean of Students oversees
residential life, manages student conduct issues,
advises the
Association of Student Representatives, coordinates some aspects
of parent relations (newsletter, listserv, and web page),
and convenes the
Trinity Alcohol Coalition.
Major initiative for 2007-2008
- Develop and implement
recommendations from the Upperclass Student Task Force, which explored the residential experiences
of sophomores,
juniors and seniors.
