Hot Jobs and
Occupations So how do I answer the question about hot jobs? I generally ask the question, “what interests you?” or “what are you passionate about?” Once an individual can answer one or both of those questions it provides a great starting point for occupational research. What occupations and industries closely match individual interests, passions, and capabilities is a much better place to start than just relying on the most heavily recruited or highest paying jobs and occupations. Sometimes the answer means that the actual jobs are not as obvious, but with enough research and networking anyone can at least begin to move toward work, that in the long-term will be meaningful and rewarding.
