Hey everyone!
After the great response that the Association of Student Representatives (ASR) received from students interested in internal coordinator positions, I’d like to notify all of you of another position that recently became available.
If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior, and are interested in getting involved on campus and representing the opinions and ideas of your peers to the administration, one ASR senator position is now open to applications. If you missed last semester’s campus-wide ASR election but still would like to pursue this position and would be able to attend our weekly meetings (every Monday from 7:30-9), here is your chance! Send an e-mail to ASR expressing your interest by midnight this Friday, September 18th, and we will get in touch with you to schedule a time during which you can tell the senate why you should be the one who is selected as senator.
PS, do you guys know about the Tiger Ride program? There are vouchers all across campus that you can present to any San Antonio taxi driver which will allow you to pay for that cab ride with your Tiger bucks directly, instead of the cash in your wallet. Cool, right? You can find these vouchers in McLean, Prassel, Thomas 3rd, South, Heidi Lounge, and the Witt Center, so don’t hesitate to grab one the next time you’re thinking of catching a cab!
