Subject: Constitution Day

On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. We now celebrate the anniversary of that signing across the country.

Political Science Professor David Crockett has provided an essay commemorating the event and its significance here:  http://www.trinity.edu/departments/public_relations/on_campus/constitution_day/index.htm

Coates Library has created an exhibit on the Constitution. When you visit it, you may pick up a pocket-sized copy of the Constitution, generously provided by the office of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.   For information on the library display, please see: http://libguides.trinity.edu/constitutionday
