Timely Warning Notice
On September 10, 2009 at 7:30 pm a visitor in the Jesse Jones Recreational Area was a victim of theft. The victim observed 3 Hispanic males in their late teens to early twenties enter the recreational area from the Kings Court entrance. The victim realized several of his items missing from the area. The victim then observed 2 of the subjects from earlier running from the same area. As the victim attempted to approach the subjects, the third subject ran up from behind the victim and grabbed a bag that the victim had in his hand. All 3 subjects jumped into a white late 90’s model Mercury Cougar and left the area.
As the victim checked the road area on Kings Court Drive he observed the same vehicle accelerating towards him. The victim was able to move out of the way and avoid injury. A report of shots fired during this incident was reported but not confirmed.
The suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late teens to early twenties. One subject was described as wearing a dark color baseball cap, dark shorts and a white sleeveless T-shirt with a white under shirt. The same subject was described as having two circular rings tattooed on his left arm with a possible serpent.
