Subject: Mac Users-Snow Leopard Support Information
Trinity Mac Users,
As of tomorrow, August 28th, Snow Leopard, Apple’s newest operating system, goes on sale to the general public. Unfortunately, due to software limitations with Clean Access, Snow Leopard is not a supported operating system on Trinity’s network. Information Technology Services (ITS) is currently engaged in discussions with our software vendors to rectify this issue as quickly as possible. However until the compatibility issue has been resolved, we ask that Mac users not upgrade their computer to Snow Leopard if they wish to continue enjoying high-speed Internet connections using TUSecure and accessing their student folders on Trinity servers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause, but encourage you to contact our Helpdesk at (210) 999-7409 or helpdesk@trinity.edu with any questions or concerns.
