Subject: Find out about Summer Internships

Greetings from your Alumni Sponsor!  I know that all of you are entering a busy time in the semester, but I wanted to take a quick moment to get you thinking about getting Internships this summer.  It can be a great learning experience that will add depth to your resume, and could earn some money and  class credits. Here are several key resources for you to use. 

First, Career Services can help you gain access to over 500 Alumni through Alumni Snaphots.  They can get you connected to TigerJobs, the web based job search system at  https://www.myinterfase.com/trinity/student/. Second, Alumni Relations can help you connect with  Alumni in your city of choice to locate Alumni by employment field of expertise, in case you can't find a good match in Alumni Snaphots. Third, many of your respective academic departments may have faculty assigned to internships. For example, my wife Carol is one of the resources in the Business Administration Department. Stop by one of these offices and just ask for help with internships. I did it one summer.  I learned about the professional work environment, and it helped pay the bills!
