Greetings Undergraduate Students:
Registration for Fall & Summer 2009 is coming soon! Here is important information to help you prepare. Please read carefully.
Registration: April 13-24, 2009
Undergraduate students:
ü If declaring a major or minor, declaration forms must be received in the Office of the Registrar by March 23rd in order to be processed for April registration. Forms received after March 23rd will be processed following registration. Major/Minor declarations should be submitted promptly to allow academic departments adequate time for processing. Forms are available in the registrar’s office only. Transcripts and transfer credit approval forms for courses previously taken must also be received by March 23rd.
ü The Fall/Summer 2009 Class Schedule will be available on TigerPAWS on March 27 (use “Search for Sections”). Printed copies of the Class Schedule will be available April 6.
ü Log onto TigerPAWS and check over your Transcript and Degree Audit. Make sure all transfer credits and AP credits are posted, and that your degree audit correctly lists all approved majors/minors. Note that additional majors/minors are reflected at the end of the degree audit. If any changes or updates are necessary, or if you have any questions, contact the Office of the Registrar.
ü Make sure you have cleared all holds from the Business Office, Health Services, Student Affairs, etc. You can check for holds on the Registration Status link on TigerPAWS. NOTE: All students registering for 9 hours or more must provide proof of Personal Health Insurance before March 23rd . Registration holds will be placed on students who do not do so. Go to www.trinity.edu/healthservices for more information and to submit proof of insurance online.
ü Registration dates & times will be posted to your TigerPAWS Registration Status screen on March 31 (they are not updated yet).
ü
All
students must be advised prior to registration. Important notice to
Seniors: contact your advisor 2 weeks prior to registration to set up your
advising appointment. All other students: contact your advisor at least 7 days
in advance of your registration date to schedule an appointment.
ü BE PREPARED! Prior to meeting with your advisor, review your Degree Audit on TigerPAWS, look over your transcript and catalog, and prepare a tentative schedule of classes.
ü All continuing students are expected to register by April 24. Those who do not do so for any reason (including registration holds) will be subject to late fees and must wait until late August to register.
ü After registering online or making any changes to your schedule, go to My Class Schedule on TigerPAWS. Verify it is correct and print a copy – this is a sure way to confirm that your transaction went through.
