Two quick notes regarding stewardship of your transcripts and your Trinity
degree:
-
The last day an undergraduate student may withdraw from a course with a “W”
is March 26. Deficient mid-term grade notices (of Ds or Fs) have been sent.
Talk with the professors in these classes if you are unsure how to proceed.
Based on that communication, if you decide to withdraw you need to do so by
the withdrawal deadline. The Registrar’s Office has the necessary paperwork
and you will need the professor’s signature, as well as your advisor’s
signature. After 5 p.m. on the 26th, the only way to withdraw from a
class is to provide me with documentation of an emergency situation (e.g.,
hospitalization), which is evidence that you were unable to withdraw by the
deadline. The professor of the class will also have to support you in this
request for an exception to policy.
-
Review your degree audit online via Tiger Paws before you are advised.
It is what it says—it checks to see if you will get a degree!
It will audit your Common Curriculum, declared majors and/or minors. It is
crucial that you know how to read this. Your advisor will have a hard copy
of your degree audit. If you do not yet know how to read these, please make
sure to ask your advisor for help.
I wish each of you a strong finish in the final eight weeks of the semester!
