Dear Student:

Trinity University has a terrific opportunity to help the San Antonio community with the United Way Days of Caring project at the Medina River Natural Area.  This project will assist the park in showcasing the historically native grasses and wildflowers of South San Antonio.  This will not only beautify but increase the birds and animals in the area because the native vegetation is what they thrive on.

Volunteers (YOU) are needed to spread mulch and plant seeds.

You will not be excused from class in order to participate.  However, if you do not have classes that morning, you are strongly encouraged to participate.

Registration is easy!  Please visit http://www.trinity.edu/cci/service/events.htm to download the registration form.  You can also stop by the Coates Information Desk to complete a form.  Space is limited!  All registration forms should be completed and turned in by noon on Friday, September 26.

If you have any questions about Days of Caring, or the registration process, please e-mail Edwin Blanton, Coordinator for Community Service & Engagement at edwin.blanton@trinity.edu or call 999-7547.
