Direct Enrollment in a University Abroad
not an Exchange Partner

It is possible for a well-qualified
student to enroll directly in some universities abroad. The student must
be independent and self-sufficient and have appropriate language and academic
qualifications. (Note that language skills must be significantly advanced.
Students should be prepared to read and write formal papers in addition to
having good oral and aural communication skills.) At the same time, the
host university must provide sufficient support for housing, orientation,
academic advising and registration, and emergency response to meet Trinity
standards.
Direct enrollment is most common in
countries where English is the primary language and where the system allows for
visiting students. Please note that some universities abroad are only
prepared to welcome students from US universities with whom they have a formal
exchange relationship. |
