  1. Laptops that are setup to connect to Trinity University's wireless network can print to the Pharos Uniprint Program by installing the necessary software (please be sure that you have the initial university's wireless software installed before continuing).  Once installed you will be able to print from any of the university's computer labs. The Pharos Uniprint software can be installed from the following link.

  2. The difference between the current university ID Card & the Tiger Card is strictly cosmetic.  Now that the university has an official Tiger Card Office, and so many more options for using your card [w/ Tiger Bucks account], our staff thought it would be nice to give the current ID card a new look

    - you won't need to exchange your current ID card for the New Tiger Card, since the tenders available on this card are exactly the same ones available on the new one.  But if you'd like to have a new-looking Tiger Card, we would be happy to do so for the $25 replacement fee.

  3. There is no charge/fee for the replacement of a malfunctioning, extremely worn out, faded or damaged cards. However, deliberately damaged cards (ie. punching holes in them) and lost or stolen ID Cards will be accessed a $25 replacement fee. All account information automatically applies to the new card, and the older card is deactivated.

Replacement cards are issued by the Tiger Card Office in the Storch building, room # 005.  Temporary-Prox ID cards can be issued by the Department of Campus Safety ONLY after regular business hours, but those must be redeemed for your replacement ID card [from the Tiger Card Office] within 48 hours.

  5. Your university ID card [Tiger card] can be used at several locations throughout the university using the card's Prox capabilities for access to electronically controlled doors and both Meal Plan and Tiger Buck's tenders associated with your ID card.
     
    - At all Aramark terminals, all dining areas including The Commons,
      Mabee Hall & the newly renovated Java City (located in the Library)

    - And at the NEW  Convenience store - "C3" (located in the Coates Center)

    - At the Library, for printing services in the NEW "Paw Prints" digital print
      shop coming soon to the library's NEW Information Commons area

    - And at all university computer lab for printing services,
     
    utilizing the Pharos UniPriNT pay-for-print management system

    - At the university Barnes & Noble Bookstore

    - For Laundry and vending machines, located throughout the university

    - Access to residential halls, electronically controlled classrooms

  6. Add money/value to your Tiger Bucks Account with Check or Credit card
    at any of the following locations:


    - Tiger Card Office, located at Storch building room #005

    -The Student Accounts office, located at the Northrup room# 142

    - AT any one of the three Transfer Value Stations located at either:
               - The Elizabeth Huth & Coates Library (behind Java City)
               - Coates University Center (against the wall, left side of lobby, as you enter)
               - Thomas/Lightner Residential hall (in the lobby area of the 3rd floor)

    - And you can add value to your Tiger Bucks ONLINE!!
    Go to your account ONLINE!  - Check detailed Transaction History and/or report your Id card lost or stolen ONLINE anytime of the day or night!

  7. You can now find out what your Meal Plan, Tiger Bucks balances are:

    - At any of the Aramark Terminals

      (ask any Aramark cashier next time you purchase an item w/ your ID card)


    - At any one of these offices
    :
    - The Tiger Card Office, located in Storch room # 005
    - The Student Account's Office, located in Northrup room # 142

    And also
    check your Tiger Bucks balance:  
    - At any one of the three Value Transfer Station locations at either:
               - The Elizabeth Huth & Coates Library (behind Java City)
               - Thomas/Lightner Residential hall (in the lobby area of the 3rd floor)
               - Coates University Center (in the main entrance lobby)

  8. Pharos UniPriNT is Trinity's pay-for-print system, it was implemented throughout all the university computer labs, in the Fall of 2002.  Pharos UniPriNT software tracks, monitors, routes and communicates with server that handles the Tiger Bucks accounts to charge for network printing.  For more on how to print from the labs with this pay-for-print system, see our UniPriNT documentation.

  9. Printing at the computer labs throughout campus (for university patrons with trinity-network UserID & passwords) will cost:
    * $.09 per page, for black & white printouts [ $.14 duplex printing]
    * $.75 for color printouts, per page [$1.00 for color-duplex printouts]

Trinity Guest may purchase a Cub Card at one of our Card Value Stations  {located in the Elizabeth Coates Library , or Murchison Hall Lounge, or Thomas/Lightner residential hall} and add Tiger Bucks to their Cub card's at that location, in order to print. This Tiger Bucks account works like any other, you can use this account everywhere Tiger Bucks are accepted!

    For those university patrons who do not have an authenticating UserID & password, a Guest UserID & password was created at the Library and can only print from those designated areas throughout the library.  Although the Tiger Bucks tender works in ALL other university locations, such as the bookstore, and all Aramark terminals.

  11. Door access request can be made by sending an email to the Tiger Card Office TCRD@trinity.edu.  Requests are only accepted from Registrar’s Office, Department Chairs, Professors, or other Administrative staff. 
     
    We will need to know:
    The person’s name needing to have access
    Their ID number (which is their Datatel number, located on the front of their id card)
    Their Prox number (which is the five digit number located on the back of their ID card),
    The Building name and/or Room numbers)
    and any access-time restrictions.  Email TCRD@trinity.edu with any special circumstances pertaining to the access and/or hours.

  12. Tiger dollars are NOT refundable until graduation or withdrawal from the university.
    You can NOT get a cash advance from the value of your Tiger Bucks account
    , however, once you graduate or leave the university you can request a refund for the total Tiger Bucks balance by going to the Student Account office in Northrup and filling out a request form.

  14. TigerPAWS is a Web interface that allows you to access information contained in the administrative database used by Trinity University. The application system allows you to register for classes, access your network directory/files, and much more. TigerPAWS uses your campus Intranet UserID and password for accessing this area of your student account.
    In contrast...

    Tiger Bucks is the university's discretionary spending account. If you have never signed up for access to this area you will need to click on the "
    Not Registered? Click here to sign up!" link, and enter your seven-digit student ID number [must include the leading zero(s)].  You will then be sent an email to the address you signed up with and a link to verify and confirm your online access to your account.  Once online you can easily & securely view Meal Plan & Tigerbucks balances, transaction history and much more!

  16. The station location names, when you view your transaction history, is the way the system identifies them. This can be confusing if you are not familiar with the locations and their unique names. To help you identify exactly where your purchases are taking place when you view your transaction history you can refer to this list of the unique names and the locations that they refer to.
