Middle Eastern News Sources in English:
General / Africa / Middle East

To find news sources from both within and outside of a given Middle Eastern country, I recommend starting with the first source below (ABYZ News Links). Finding foreign newspapers online in English can be difficult, and their ownership and origin isn't always readily apparent. When you find a specific source, look for an 'About Us' link to tell you more, and beware the aggregated sites that pull content from other primary sources and repackage it.
I have also listed links for each country, though these may not be comprehensive because of the scope of the project.

This online index indicates whether a source is national (in-country) or foreign, and indicates if an English version is available as well.For another list of possible sources by country (which indicates the origin of a source as well), you can try Access World News (Middle East), which will give you names of sources and let you see full-text for headline articles (this is a text-only source--no graphics or layout available). *Best for out-of-country/foreign sources.*
