Andrew
(A.J.) Davitt
A.J. graduated from Trinity with a B.S. in Biology. While
at Trinity he worked on identifying native species whose resource
use overlapped with the focal invasive species, KR Bluestem.
He is currently a graduate student at Rice university in the
Rudgers & Whitney Lab (link).
His interests include community ecology, grasses, mutualisms,
and the ecology of invasive species. He is currently studying
how mutualisms, specifically grass-endophyte interactions,
affect community structure. Outside of the scholastic world,
he enjoys scuba diving, volleyball, and the beach.
