Welcome to Biological Impacts and Issues, i.e., Biology 1307. Several of you have asked about textbooks for this course. We will not be using a textbook. Instead, you will be receiving various hand-outs to read during the course of the semester.
I would remind you that the lecture outlines that are currently on this website are from last year. I will be making moderate revisions in some of these outlines as the semester progresses. Usually, I will put the latest revision on this website by 10:00 PM the night before any given lecture. When a revised outline has been completed, the hyperlink will be high-lited in
blue, instead of orange.As we progress through the first 2/3's of this course, you may find it helpful to bookmark several search engines that can provide you almost any information available about health and disease topics:
